I am a member of a great online community called DGRIN....and as with most forums they have a buy/sell forum called the FLEA MARKET.......I normally do not buy or sell a lot on there and I am critized for being an EBAYER but in my own defense 99% of all of my purchases on ebay I can get a square trade warranty....but i have bought off the forums when an item is near new nd still under the original warranty as long as seller agrees to send the item in for repair if needed since mfg'ers warranties are not transferable.........
Well I made a deal for a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR.....a lens that is less than 2 yrs old and I sent the Fellow Dgrinner $1230........9 days ago paid extra for overnight shipping.....have yet to receive the lens........I have called him at work and I called him at home............Rockford Il is only a 12 hr drive from wichita..loks like I may be in for a road trip to collect.

Scary, Art. Did you get this resolved? Makes me wary about doing business on SM now. :( So far every transaction I have done there has gone smooth, so now I am a bit worried about trading on the forum.
Printergirl.....no looks like I'll have to take Chris to court......I put up a post on it to let other DGiners be aware of their not being any protection buying on a forum.....unlike Ebay......part of the problem was me paying him as a gift.....that left me no power for resolution.
this is my 1st bad transaction on Dgrin also....or anyother forum.
